Barrow - Bering Strait - Nome 650 miles
Nome - Dutch Harbour 530 miles
Nome - Homer (Alaska Peninsula, 6 Hrs by Bus
from Anchorage) 1300 miles approx.
Our Options will be based on whether:
A/ We round Pt. Barrow in late September, say Sept 30th.
B/ We round Pt. Barrow earlier, say September 1st.
If we do a Late September, end-of-season rounding, we will want to haul out as
soon as possible.
Options are: Barrow itself - unattractive

Hebor (recommended)
An early September rounding, during 2001, is most unlikely.
